Octavia Morgan: Clean, Gender‑Inclusive Luxury Fragrances
A friendly guide to Octavia Morgan’s clean, genderless perfumes rooted in self‑expression, made for sensitivity and luxury.
If you’ve been searching for fragrances that feel personal, safe, and beautifully crafted, let’s chat about Octavia Morgan, a clean, genderless fine fragrance brand rooted in self‑expression and inclusivity. Think of this as a relaxed conversation, just you, me, and a lovely scent.
A Brand Born from Sensitivity and Self‑Expression
Octavia Morgan began with a serious problem: the founder, a registered nurse, developed sensitivity to many conventional fragrances causing headaches, nausea, and skin reaction. Unable to find clean, high-performing alternatives, she used her science background and knowledge of plant-based ingredients (inspired by her herbalist grandmother) to create her own unique fragrances. It started as a personal solution “a selfish line” but quickly became something much bigger when others began to fall in love with the scents.
Clean, Complex, and Genderless
Launched in 2022 in Los Angeles, Octavia Morgan crafts clean fine fragrances free from parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde, and harsh synthetics. The brand embraces a gender inclusive approach, designing scents that weave florals, woods, spices, and more into balanced, multi layered blends encouraging everyone to wear what resonates without labels.
Milestone: First Black, Woman‑Owned Prestige Fragrance at Ulta
In early 2025, Octavia Morgan Los Angeles made history as the first Black and woman-owned prestige fragrance brand to launch at Ulta Beauty. Four of the brand’s nine core scents Legendary, Dark Rose, Midnight Orchard, and L’Affaire are now available in 600 Ulta doors nationwide, thanks in part to support from Ulta’s MUSE Accelerator program.
