Inspiring Story – Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success

A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said “I don’t think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat.”

Although I’m not a medical doctor by profession but a doctor of nutrition and

fat loss. I’m a Nutrition Biochemist especially a Biochemist by training and a Nutritionist by experience.

I guess it all started back when I was in secondary school because I’ve always been on the big side with a tendency to get fatter (which I eventually did) and then it progressed until I gained admission into the higher institution.

As God would have it I found myself studying Biochemistry (In lay man’s terms: how the body works and the processes going on inside it).

That was how my passion for understanding nutrition and fat loss developed.

I have studied countless materials and research topics on weight loss, belly fat loss and even have a huge personal collection of materials written by the best and foreign weight loss/belly fat loss experts in the world.

But one problem with those materials is that most of it could not be applied by Nigerians which has led us to fall into the trial and error trap which do not work.

The only survivor of a shipwreck who was washed up on a small uninhabited island prayed fervently for God to rescue him and every day he scanned the horizon for help but none seem forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect him from the elements and to store his few possessions.

One day, after scavenging for food he arrived home to find his little hut in flames and soon there was nothing left. The worst had happened and everything was lost. He was stunned with disbelief, grief and anger. “God, how could you do this to me?” He cried, early the next day he was awakened by the sound of a ship approaching the island. It had come to rescue him. “How did you know I was here?” Asked the weary man.”We saw your smoke signal”, they replied.

What would have happened if this hut had not gotten burnt? Where would his “rescue miracle smoke” have come from? Its easy to get discouraged when things are going bad, but we shouldn’t lose hope, bcos God is at work in our lives, even in the midst of pain and suffering. Remember this the next time your “hut” seems to be burning to the ground. It just may be a smoke signal that summons the grace of God because he is faithful. No matter how 2012 has been, never forget: God is too faithful to fail, hold on and keep the faith.

4 Things You Do That Kill Her Sex Drive

There’s a reason why you and your wife of 20 years don’t ravage each other anymore, and it isn’t for your lack of trying. According to a new study in the Journal of Sex & Marital Therapy, women in a committed relationship report lower levels of sexual desire over time—a .02 percent decrease every month—while a guy’s desire stays the same. (Yet another reason to start with a lusty woman to begin with!)

“Some research suggests that somewhere between 6 and 30 months, relationships switch from passionate to compassionate—more affectionate than ripping each other’s clothes off,” says lead study author Robin Milhausen, Ph.D., a sex researcher at the University of Guelph in Ontario.

So are you to blame for her lack of lust? Not necessarily, Milhausen says. “For women with a lower sex drive in the first place, the switch to a deeper emotional bond may reduce some of the excitement associated with sex in new relationships.”

Still, you’re not exactly helping matters. We asked several sex experts to shed light on the worst things you do around the house and in the sack that turn her off. Vow to never commit the following mood-killers again—try to Banish These Bad Habits, too—and your sex life will suffer no more.

1. Ignoring Her Appearance
“Guys in long-term relationships tend to stop noticing when their partner looks pretty, and so much of female sexual desire is tied to a sense of self-esteem,” says Ian Kerner, Ph.D., sex counselor and author of She Comes First. The fix here is simple: Pay her a few simple compliments every day, like letting her know she’s sexy, Kerner says.

2. Putting Her Under Pressure
Don’t worry or question her about getting orgasms, says Marnia Robinson, author of Cupid’s Poisoned Arrow. Stay relaxed and focused on playful touching, she advises. “This means no performance pressure on either of you. Let whatever happens happen in its own time—or not. Good sex is about connection and sensual satisfaction, not number of orgasms produced.” And here’s a nice added benefit to staying calm: “The relaxation is good for erections,” says Robinson.

3. Using Porn As a Benchmark
It’s good to keep the sex hot—but it’s more important to keep it real. In other words, forget that cool move you caught on XTube. ”Just because you saw a sexual practice in a film doesn’t mean it’s safe or satisfying,” says Robinson. And it might not even be something she’s into. “If you need extreme stimulation to perform with a partner, you may want to cut back on overstimulation. A desensitized brain can also find sex less arousing. 4. Leaving Her Lips Hanging
As men get comfortable in a relationship, their approach to foreplay tends to focus on the moments leading up to sex, says Kerner. “But female desire doesn’t operate like a light switch that turns on and off—it’s more like a dimmer,” he says. Small acts of intimacy like hugging and kissing can get her in the mood. But don’t get antsy: “Don’t expect her to be immediately turned on,” Kerner says.

7 Things That Should Never Happen In The Bedroom

It’s said that men think with their…well, you know. And that is particularly true in the bedroom when things are getting hot and heavy. But just because a man’s animal instincts may kick in, that is no excuse for manners to go out the window. Don’t ever let a man get away with these things (i.e. if he does them, get dressed and walk out):

1. Refusal to use protection: 
Even if he is 100% certain that he is clean, he should have the decency to know that his telling you that will not give you the peace of mind you would need to sleep unprotected with someone without proof. It may be harsh but, if a guy tries to talk you out of using a condom, or even shows disgust or irritation over you suggesting it, walk out.

2. Tug-a-war:
Tug-a-war of any kind is not okay. A guy trying to guide you into a certain position that you are clearly resistant to, or into a certain act that you obviously don’t want to do— is never okay. Some guys try to get away with not talking to you about it. They think that if they don’t technically ask you if it is okay, then you didn’t technically say no. So they think they can just keep trying to use their body to direct you into doing something you don’t want. But they aren’t clueless. They can tell when you are resisting. If they keep pushing for it, call the whole thing off.

3. “She did it”:
Don’t ever let a man convince you to do something by saying that his ex always loved it, or saying other females tell him they’ve enjoyed it, or trying to call on his “references.” That is just another form of intimidation; plus, the last thing you need to visualize at such an intimate time is this man being with someone else.

4. Leaving you to clean up the mess:
Let’s be real…sex can get a little messy sometimes. Don’t ever allow a man to just toss a towel your way when it’s over and go off to check his email, shower or (god forbid) leave. If he even tries this, demand that he come back and clean up. Demand some respect. And never call him again.

5. Phoning a friend:
Be it a one night stand or a long time boyfriend, it is your decision whether or not a guy can tell his friends what has just happened. Some men think it’s okay and even funny (so immature) to pick up their friend’s call when they’re still panting post-coital and tell them “I’m in bed with so and so.” Unless you two are in some sort of a relationship in which you have established you both find that humorous or are at least comfortable with it, it is highly disrespectful for a man to do this.

6. Frustrated over not finishing:
Never is getting angry the way to go in terms of getting what you want in the bedroom. If you finish before your guy and you are just exhausted, or visa versa, no one is entitled to a temper tantrum. That being said, if you’re in a long-standing relationship with a person who does not prioritize your satisfaction enough and who you know has the energy left in him to satisfy you, but is just being selfish or lazy, definitely say something about it. Just don’t pout or name call.

7. Fear of eye contact:
I get it—looking each other in the eyes for a long time during sex can be awkward and even ruin the mood. But some men are terrified of eye contact during sex. They only like positions in which there is no eye contact. They frantically whip their head around trying to avoid your eyes if you are looking at them. For many women, this can make them feel objectified. If you’re in a long-standing relationship with a man with this problem and it does disturb you, talk to him about it. Even suggest he see someone professionally to handle the fear.

Things Are to be Used, but People are to be Loved – What An Inspiring Short Story

What an inspiring short article. A must read for anyone that wants to be a better him/her.

While a man was polishing his new car, his 6 year old son picked up a stone and scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man took the child’s hand and hit it many times; not realizing he was using a wrench.

At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures. When the child saw his father…..with painful eyes he asked, ‘Dad when will my fingers g…row back?’

The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times. Devastated by his own actions…….sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches; the child had written ‘LOVE YOU DAD’.

The next day that man committed suicide.

MORALS:

Anger and Love have no limits; choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely life…..

Things are to be used and people are to be loved. But the problem in today’s world is that, People are used and things are loved.

In this year and beyond, let’s be careful to keep this thought in mind:

– Things are to be used, but People are to be loved.
– Watch your thoughts; they become words.
– Watch your words; they become actions.
– Watch your actions; they become habits.
– Watch your habits they become character;
– Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.
